How Much Do Dock Leveler Replacement Parts Cost? 2026 Pricing Guide
One of the most common questions we get is simply: "how much is this going to cost me?" before a facility manager commits to a repair. Unlike a full leveler replacement (which can run five figures installed), most dock repairs are a single worn part. Here's real, current pricing across the categories we sell most.
Small hardware: $6 – $15
Fasteners and small hardware are the cheapest fix and the most commonly under-ordered — facilities often replace one washer or nut instead of the full set, and the leveler fails again within months. A 1-1/4" Flat Washer and Serrated Flange Nut both run around $6 each; a Hook Key is about $11. Buy these in sets, not singles, if the unit has more than one worn fastener.
Mechanical wear components: $70 – $190
Rollers, bearings, springs guides, and plungers fall in this range. A Carriage Roller runs about $70, a Blue Giant Bearing & Flange and Spring Guide are roughly $143 each, and a TKO Plunger is about $186. These are the parts most likely to fail from normal duty cycles — expect to replace them every few years on a high-traffic dock.
Electrical components: ~$960+
Control and terminal boards are the most expensive single-part repair short of a full leveler replacement, but still a fraction of the cost of replacing the unit. A Terminal Board runs around $964. If your leveler has no power at all, confirm the board is actually the fault (check breakers and connections first) before ordering — it's a non-returnable electrical part.
Dock door protection: $1,700+
Track protectors sit at the higher end because they prevent much larger, recurring damage. An AP9661 Impact-A-Track runs about $1,711 installed but typically pays for itself by eliminating repeat track and door repairs from forklift strikes.
Budgeting a repair
Most single-part dock leveler repairs land between $6 and $200. Anything above that — terminal boards, track protection, or multiple simultaneous part failures — is worth a quick call to confirm you're ordering the exact part for your brand and model before you spend the money. We're glad to help you get it right the first time.
